    Thorvaldur Örn Kristmundsson has been a photographer for two decades and started as a press photographer.
    For many years Thorvaldur was Chairman for Icelandic Press photographers Association and also The Chairman for the Nordic Press photographers community. Covering major news events in Iceland and also in many parts of the world, his focus today is mainly photo documentary and exploring the photographic medium as an art form. Born 1970 in Reykjavik Iceland, Thorvaldur has worked and made stories for various agencies and magazines all over the world. After dozens of exhibitions, the focus is today mainly on photo documentary and contemporary photography.
